0.8.6 - Technology

Welcome to the next post on the story of important changes in the new version. This time we'll talk about the technology redesign.
From the usual kind of technologies in 0.8.5, which are presented as a progress line filled for improvement points, technologies have been reworked into branches, now it is a more advanced mechanic, it has been completely revamped and will be discussed further on.
Branches are divided into two types, the left path is designed for long-term development of the village, you study technologies for a long time, but get more effect, the right one is for rapid development, in this case the effect for studying technologies is reduced. Technologies can be mutually exclusive, when studying one branch, the other can be completely closed, examples will be given further.
The first section of technologies is economy. Here there are branches related to the development of the economy, such as: increasing income, economic development, lowering the prices of buildings, development of medicine. The first one is responsible for increasing the total income in the turn, the second one increases the development of economy in each province, as it does the construction "workshop", the third one reduces the prices of all buildings in all provinces, and the fourth one does the same as the second one, but works on the population, as well as "hospital".
The second section is related to politics. There is a branch of diplomatic points, as well as 4 mutually exclusive branches: diplomacy (increases the chances of all diplomatic actions), isolation (decreases the chances of AI interaction with the player and vice versa), control (increases the chances of vassalisation and decreases the probability of independence of vassals), capture (increases the chances of annexation).
The third branch is responsible for the army. Similarly to the second branch, there are mutually exclusive branches here, there are two of them, the attack branch (increasing the attack of generals) and the defence branch (increasing the defence of generals). The other branches are: increasing generals' points, lowering generals' salaries and accelerating the general's level increase.
Clicking on any available technology will open a panel with information, the name of the technology, its description, its effect and the number of moves to improve it.
You can keep track of the technologies you are studying at any time by pressing the button that opens the panel with the currently studied technologies. You can also see the technology levels of each country.
